Loganville City Council
The City Council Work session is the Monday preceding the Second Thursday of the Month
City Council Meetings take place every 2nd Thursday of the month.
Meetings begin at 7:30pm.
All meetings are held in the Council Chambers located at 4385 Pecan Street unless otherwise specified.
Meet Your City Council
Council Member Mark Kiddoo was elected to his first term in June 2003 and was elected again in November 2004. He has been a resident of Loganville since 1999. Mark is married to Susan and has a daughter Kimberly and a son Derek.
Mark has graduated from the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Community Planning Academy and was a member of Loganville’s Planning and Development Commission. He has a MBA in International Business and a Bachelors degree in Management. Mark has been a business manager and a consultant for over 15 years.
Mark is an Eagle Scout and a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church where he teaches Sunday school.

Council Member Dan Curry and and his wife Nancy grew up and lived in the Centerville Community of Gwinnett County prior to moving to Loganville in August of 2004. They have two married daughters and one granddaughter. They attend Hope and Life Fellowship Church where Dan serves as the administrator. Dan has been a member of many civic and fraternal organizations including Loganville Lions Club. He is a past president of The Centerville Business Association and The Villas at Loganville Home Owners Association. Dan served on the Loganville Planning and Development Commission prior to being elected to the city Council.

Council Member Michelle Lynch began serving on the City Council in January 2011. Before and during Michelle’s campaign for City Council she served as a volunteer Event Coordinator for the City of Loganville. She had coordinated events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Autumn Heritage Festival, Tree Lighting and the 2010 Loganville Christmas Parade. Michelle has served as a member of the Loganville Downtown Development Authority, Co-Vice President and Secretary of various non-profit organizations and on the Board of Advisors with her HOA.
Michelle is married to her husband Michael and together they have three children.

Council Member Rey Martinez was elected to the Council in 2011. Rey is a member of the Walton County and Greater Grayson Chambers of Commerce. Rey is a 20 year Navy Veteran and a member of Post 233 American Legion in Loganville. Rey has two sons, Jesse and Jason, who both attend Loganville Middle School.

Council Member Skip Baliles is new to the political arena. Skip has resided in Loganville, with his wife Gerry, since 2005. Two of his children reside in Loganville and the other lives in Snellville with her family which includes Skip's two grand kids. His goals include adding more businesses and in return offering more jobs in the immediate area and increasing our taxpaying base to help share the tax burden and improve the quality of life, work and play for all citizens of Loganville.
Skip retired from Sears after managing the Sears store in Gwinnett Place Mall, opened and managed the Lowe's store in Norcross, and went into the car business as the small business consultant at Hayes Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep in Lawrenceville. He is a Charter Member of the Legacy Lions Club and is looking forward to working with and for the citizens of Loganville.
