As Stormwater flows over driveways, lawns, and sidewalks, it picks up debris, chemicals, dirt and other pollutants. Anything that enters a storm sewer system is discharged, untreated, into the water bodies we use for swimming, fishing, and providing drinking water. Polluted runoff is the nation’s greatest threat to clean water. The City of Loganville addressed this threat with the creation of the Stormwater division in 2003. In May of 2004 The EPD approved the City of Loganville's Phase II Stormwater Notice of Intent which outlines Best Management Practices (BMPs) the city will implement that cover such areas as: Public Education, Participation, Illicit Discharge Detection & Elimination, Construction Site Control, Post-Construction Management, and Pollution Prevention. We welcome your reports on stormwater problems and encourage you to fill out a CITIZEN Response Form. Utility Supervisor Stormwater Admin. Assistant Director of Utilities Visitors to this page - 659
